The Recollection Project uses an object-based storytelling methodology. Objects are used as conversation starters to connect us to each other, our lived experiences, and to our memories of people, places and experiences.
Seeley Cardone, Recollection co-director and licensed Art Therapist, hosts this short video training series. She introduces you to this object-based methodology that can be used in your caregiving role, or as a way to engage friends and family in a new and interesting way. This training will get you started in less than 45 minutes. You can use this training in combination with our DIY Storytelling Kit for a seamless start to using this method.
